The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs extended their winning streak.

The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs racked up a win at Experimental Stadium, bumping off the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 3-0. Rod Pritchard, who started for Gwinnett, pitched effectively for his team. Gwinnett reliever Rod Pritchard got the win, raising his record to 3-1. Gary Fleming was tagged with the loss.

Nick Tobías had a big 2-run home run for the Guinea Pigs in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Gwinnett leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a slider from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Gary Fleming and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Guinea Pigs on top, 3-0.

Tobías called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

The wins continue to add up for Gwinnett. The latest makes it 7 in a row.
