The Bethesda Atoms got a good effort from starter Anthony Samuels in defeating the Olympia Ogres at Atoms Field. The final score was 3-1. Will Bennett collected save number 9. The Bethesda win streak is now 7 games.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Atoms had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when right fielder Jacob Cox hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Morie Wada and made the score 2-0, Atoms. Cox was 2-3 with 2 singles.
