Krewe Win, 7-5, Versus Nuevo Mexico
The 7-5 Crescent City win over Nuevo Mexico was due in large part to Luis Antonio Rivas. The Krewe center fielder went 4-6 with 4 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win was credited to Jeff Fisher in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Luis García took the loss. Woody Lee closed the door for Crescent City, picking up his 4th save of the year.

Crescent City used a clutch hit from Luis González to get the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the 13th inning to put the Krewe ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Krewe manager Jack Morton.

Crescent City is now 15-21, while Nuevo Mexico is 22-14.
