A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis and Olympia Ogres.

Nuevo Mexico turned a good effort from starter Gilberto Espinoza into a win over the Olympia Ogres at The Ogre Den. The final score was 4-1. Samuel Morris recorded his 15th save for Nuevo Mexico.

Nuevo Mexico used the timely hitting of Edmund Hall to capture the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mariachis on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"No time for flexing," said Hall. "It's always one game at a time."

Nuevo Mexico is now 25-16, while Olympia is 19-22.
