Adam Johnson, who is rated as the 17th best prospect by BNN, had a strong outing for the Crescent City Krewe against the Gulf Coast Turbeaus at Mobile Home Park. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 9-1 win. The winner was Johnson. He threw 8.0 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Brandon Martin. The win makes Crescent City 20-23.
Nick Richardson hit a run-scoring triple off Brandon Martin in the top of the fourth, which put the Krewe in front, 2-1. In addition to the triple, Richardson had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
