In a low-scoring affair between the Toledo Stingers and the Boston Patriots, pitcher Joseph Campbell was the difference between victory and defeat. The Toledo left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-1 Stingers win. In 5.1 innings, Campbell surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run.
