Bethesda got a strong outing from Luis Yánez as the Atoms defeated the Olympia Ogres, 1-0, at The Ogre Den. Bethesda is in third place in the Premier AA with a record of 30-22.

Bethesda used the timely hitting of Blake Murray to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Atoms on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I was a little disappointed," said Olympia manager Andrés Gonzáles. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
