Frey Leads Gwinnett to 1-0 Win
The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs used a great performance from Sam Frey, who is tied for 7th in the PAA in innings pitched with 79.2, to beat the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis, 1-0, at Mariachi Band Shell. Matt Griffin finished the game for Gwinnett and earned his 13th save. Gwinnett, at 26-31, occupies 9th place in the Premier AA.

Gwinnett starter Sam Frey was exceptional. The 6-foot-6 right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings of work.

"I still have a lot of confidence in this team," Gwinnett manager Cary Collins said afterward.
