In a low-scoring contest, Crescent City pitcher David Anderson was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-0 win. Anderson got the win, improving to 2-1. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 5.2 innings. He allowed no runs.

Andy Jackson put Crescent City in front, 2-0, when he took Morie Wada downtown. His solo home run came with two out in the top of the first. It was his 1st home run of the season.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Anderson. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."

Crescent City raised its record to 29-28 with the win.
