The Crescent City Krewe beat the Marquette Miners, 11-4, at Marquette Stadium. Bud Wiser, who is tied for 5th in the PAA in triples with 2, starred for Crescent City. He went 3-4 with 3 doubles and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. The current losing streak for Marquette has reached 5 games.

In the first inning, Wiser had a 2-run double for Crescent City. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Krewe on top, 2-0.

"When their pitchers are leaving stuff over the heart of the plate, we're not missing it," said Crescent City manager Jack Morton.
