The home crowd had a good time watching the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles and Gulf Coast Turbeaus get after it.

Gulf Coast Turbeaus starter Jim Wilson was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 4-0. The triumph makes Gulf Coast 24-49.

Gulf Coast designated hitter Luis Sáenz contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 51st hit of the season and put the Turbeaus ahead, 2-0.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Sáenz.
