Hawks Take Tight Tangle
Laredo Hawks starter Lang Ren turned in a sterling performance against the Washington Generals, leading his team to a slim, 2-1 win. The Generals fall to 6-13 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2062 season.

Laredo used a timely hit from Douglas Ingate to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Hawks ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a difference-maker.

"What's not to like about a win?" said Ingate.
