Guinea Pigs Take Nail-Biter Over Pierogis
The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs wiggled past the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 5-4, at Experimental Stadium. The win was highlighted by the performance of Gwinnett pitcher Sam Frey. The winning continues for Gwinnett, with the latest triumph making it 8 straight.

The Guinea Pigs relied on third baseman Richard Fairchild for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 11th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"We're just feeding off each other right now," said Frey.
