The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis topped the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 10-3, with youngster Ju-ho Kang playing a key role. Kang went 2-5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Mariachis in the win. The last-place Pierogis have dropped 5 straight games.

With Nuevo Mexico leading 6-3 in the top of the fifth, Kang hit a fastball from Gah-fat Hsu for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Mariachis ahead, 9-3.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Kang.
