The Belleville Bulls picked up a win at Washington Park, dropping the Washington Generals, 7-6, in 10 innings. Vincent Wood, who is tied for 7th in the 3A with a 0.94 WHIP, was the difference-maker. Belleville reliever Scot Dixon was the winner. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Rod Pierce. Iván Morín finished the game for Belleville and earned his 1st save.

Belleville used a timely hit from Jason Hudson to get the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Bulls ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a difference-maker.

In postgame comments to the Belleville Citizen, Hudson said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."

The loss makes Washington 8-14.
