The Rocky Mountain Vibes got a superb performance from pitcher Bill Holman. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Mancelona. The Torch won the game, 2-1. Holman threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The win went to Ernest Pollard in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Aarto Taipale took the loss. The win puts the Torch at 11-12, while the Vibes drop to 17-6.
