With Late Score, Generals Beat Torch
The Washington Generals defeated the Mancelona Torch, 4-3, in 10 innings in M3L Single A action at Washington Park. Washington pitcher James Rose had a standout performance. The winner was Benjamin Davidson in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Maxwell Powers took the loss. The 8th-place Generals improved to 11-14.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the tenth, an error by the Torch allowed the Generals to score the winning run.

"The crowd was juiced," said Smith.
