Park, Belleville Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
|
In a tight tilt between the Belleville Bulls and the Caldwell Chiefs, Trevor Park was the deciding factor. The Belleville right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Scot Dixon notched his 7th save of the season. The victory gives the Bulls a record of 13-13.
Park kept the Chiefs under his thumb. He scattered 3 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 10. The right-hander upped his season record to 1-1.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Park said.
