Though he had a terrific game, Ramón Cora could not prevent his team, the Caldwell Chiefs, from absorbing a loss. Idaho Falls won the game, 5-3. Cora went 4-5 with a triple and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs. Idaho Falls reliever Raúl López picked up the win, raising his record to 2-1. Hisanobu Harada was tagged with the loss. Idaho Falls has run its win streak to 5 straight.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Millennium Anton Woods, Jr.? The Idaho Falls third baseman had a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to put the Chukars on top, 4-1. For the game, Woods, Jr. had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
