Behind a solid performance from left fielder Jessie Brooks, the Belleville Bulls defeated the Niagara Falls Expos, 8-0. Brooks was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Bulls. Belleville pitcher Dover Williams got the win, upping his record to 3-0. Wen-hua Thum got the loss. The 5th-place Bulls improved to 26-19.

Brooks put Belleville up, 3-0, when he hit a 2-run home run off Wen-hua Thum in the top of the fourth. His 3rd home run of the season helped the Bulls capture the win.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Brooks said. "We did a good job of that today."
