Vibes Earn 6-4 Win Against Bulls
|
The Rocky Mountain Vibes weathered a fine game by Belleville second baseman António Espinosa to upend the Bulls, 6-4, at Belleville Field. Espinosa hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Rocky Mountain, at 26-20, occupies 5th place in the Menard's A.
Rocky Mountain used the clutch hitting of Yoshimitsu Abe to snag the win. The shortstop drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Vibes ahead, 6-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.
"We took home the win," said Abe. "What's not to like?"
