Bronson Walker pitched well, but his team, the Idaho Falls Chukars, still dropped a 4-3 decision to the Laredo Hawks at Hawks Field. Denny Springer, now 4-2, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. Andy Lewis nailed down his 10th save.

The Hawks got a big hit from catcher Dustin Ramsey. Facing Idaho Falls pitcher Bronson Walker in the bottom of the fifth, Ramsey pounded a 2-run home run to right-center. His 2nd home run of the season put the Hawks ahead, 3-2.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Ramsey said.

Laredo is now 25-25, while Idaho Falls is 21-29.
