Behind a solid performance from second baseman Jorge Rivera, the Washington Generals defeated the Niagara Falls Expos, 6-3. Rivera was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs for the Generals. Benjamin Davidson earned the save for Washington, his 3rd.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Andrew Smith? The Washington third baseman had a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Generals on top, 4-2. For the game, Smith had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
