Niagara Falls right fielder John Witt had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-5, to Rocky Mountain at Bellevue Field. Witt was 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Aarto Taipale, now 1-5, was credited with the win in 3 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit, while striking out 1 and walking 3.
