Gilmore Lifts Hawks to 5-2 Triumph
|
Bob Gilmore knocked in all 5 runs for the Laredo Hawks, helping them defeat the Belleville Bulls, 5-2. The winning pitcher was Sam Hart. His record now stands at 7-3. The left-hander went 7.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits for the Hawks. Andy Lewis was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 8 of 10 save opportunities.
