Hawks Win 5th Straight, Take Down Bulls, 5-3

The Laredo Hawks knocked off the Belleville Bulls, 5-3, at Hawks Field. Pedro De La Torre was a big reason Laredo won. The right fielder went 2 for 4 with a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Andy Lewis earned the save for Laredo, his 9th of the year. Belleville now owns a losing streak of 5 games.
Anamol Vishwamber helped the cause in the bottom of the third. With a runner on 1st, he hit a single. His at-bat contributed to the Laredo win.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Laredo manager José Gato.
