The Idaho Falls Chukars dealt the Matlacha Manatees a 6-5 loss at Idaho Falls Park. Yen-nien Choi was the star on offense. He belted 2 home runs. Idaho Falls reliever Ángel Ortíz got the win, raising his record to 1-3. Ed Brown was tagged with the loss. The 'W' lifts Idaho Falls's record to 44-52.

Choi had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-0 fastball from Ed Brown, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Chukars a 6-5 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Choi.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Matlacha manager Howard Lee.
