Arryns Prevail, 1-0, Over Yucca Valley

Lake Erie Arryns starter Geoffrey Bannon turned in an exceptional performance against the Yucca Valley Yellows at Arryns Ballpark, resulting in a Lake Erie win, 1-0. Cecil Miller earned the save for Lake Erie, his 2nd of the year. The win gives Lake Erie a record of 2-2.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Arryns had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the second, when designated hitter Charlie Kelly hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Francisco García and made the score 1-0, Arryns. Kelly was 1-2.
"Enjoyed this one," Kelly told the Lake Erie News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
