Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Walleye
|
The Walla Walla Walleye found a way to sneak past the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 4-3, in 11 innings. Walla Walla pitcher Brady Roy, for one, had a standout performance. At 14-9, the Walleye find themselves in second place in the Silver A.
George Tennyson clinched the win with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the 11th. In the game, the Walla Walla first baseman drew 1 walk.
"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Roy. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
