The Grim Reapers scooped up a win at The Coffin, dumping the Yucca Valley Yellows, 5-1. Cecil Cornett was essential to his team's success. Grim is now 9-18, Yucca Valley 13-14.

Jim Giles, who is tied for 4th in the SA in stolen bases with 4, contributed to the Grim win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the shortstop had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.
