Gallos Overcome Great Performance by Francis in Win
The Delmarva Gallos and Monroeville Yinzers obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.

Reed Francis did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Monroeville Yinzers from being beaten, 9-8, to the Delmarva Gallos at The Cage. Francis was 4-5 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win went to Danny Hockey in relief, making him now 2-1. Mike Davis took the loss for Monroeville. Carlos Hana earned save number 10 this season.

Gerald Cooper, who is tied for 8th in the SA in RBI with 15, took Monroeville hurler Mike Davis deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run home run put the Gallos on top, 7-6. In all, Cooper had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Cooper.

With the win, the Gallos improved to 17-13.
