The Columbia River Rats beat the Levittown Blue Dragons, 7-3, at Columbia Stadium. The River Rats got a fine performance from second baseman Scott Patterson, who went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. The 6th-place River Rats now sit at 14-16.

Columbia took a 6-3 lead on Patterson's 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Michael Campbell in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Columbia to the win.

"I really like what we did out there today," Patterson said after the game.
