The Alaskan Bush Pilots topped the Monroeville Yinzers, 3-2, in USSL Single A action at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Alaskan pitcher and King City, California, native Ronald Bryan. The save went to Steven Cowan, his 2nd this season. The victory gives Alaskan a record of 18-13.

Júlio Cisneros, who is tied for 6th in the SA in doubles with 7, had a direct impact on the outcome. Cisneros contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fifth inning to put Alaskan up, 3-2.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Bryan said.
