Starting pitcher Matt Bradshaw was a major factor in the 2-1 Walla Walla Walleye triumph over the Philadelphia Liberty U-24. The win elevated the Walleye to 23-8.

Dave Beasley came through with a big-time hit for Walla Walla. The catcher smacked a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We found a way to get it done," Beasley said.
