Getting offensive support from Gerald Cooper, the Delmarva Gallos topped the Grim Reapers, 7-4. Cooper was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 for the Gallos. Steve Allen picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-3. He struck out 2 in 5.2 innings. Carlos Hana closed the game out for Delmarva, earning his 11th save.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for José Barrón? The Delmarva center fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Gallos on top, 3-1. For the game, Barrón had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
