Reyes Leads Levittown to 3-0 Win
|
The Levittown Blue Dragons received a sterling performance from starting pitcher Gabriel Reyes, allowing them to shoot down the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 3-0. The Blue Dragons go to 17-16, putting them 5th in the Silver A.
Reyes's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 5 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 4 hits. Reyes, who is tied for 3rd in the SA in quality starts with 6, goes to 2-4 on the year with 37 strikeouts.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Levittown manager Tony Sánchez said.
