Gallos Take Tight Tango, 3-1

The Delmarva Gallos had to overcome a good performance from Yucca Valley pitcher Mark Chandler to claim a 3-1 win at Ballpark of Yucca Valley. Chandler went 8 innings and allowed no runs. The loss makes Yucca Valley 17-19.
Delmarva used a clutch hit from Ray McKenzie to snatch the win. The catcher belted a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Gallos ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit, but it was huge.
"It was our day today," McKenzie told the Delmarva Daily News. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
