Holy City Herons starter Artie Cotton turned in an exceptional performance against the Delmarva Gallos at The Cage, resulting in a Holy City win, 1-0. The win went to Ryunosuke Nagata in relief, making him now 1-0. Carlos Hana took the loss for Delmarva. Their 16-21 record puts the Herons 8th in the Silver A.
Pedro Rey had a direct impact on the outcome. Rey contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put Holy City up, 1-0.
"Bottom line," said Delmarva skipper Félix Martínez, "we didn't play well enough to win."
