The Philadelphia Liberty U-24 topped the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 5-1, in USSL Single A action at Liberty Youth Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Philadelphia pitcher Pete Gross. The Liberty U-24 have an impressive 23-14 record.

Philadelphia starter Pete Gross pitched like a boss. The 5-foot-11 left-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 8.1 innings.
