Grand Forks Slaps 6-2 Loss on Delmarva

The Cocoon was the site for USSL Single A action featuring the Delmarva Gallos and Grand Forks Caterpillars.
Grand Forks turned a good effort from starter Iván Trevizo into a win over the Delmarva Gallos at The Cocoon. The Caterpillars won the game, 6-2. Trevizo, now 3-1, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 0, and allowing 2 runs.
Yataro Murakami had a clutch at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Caterpillars. Coming up with the bases loaded and Grand Forks trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single.
"I really like what we did out there today," Trevizo said after the game.
The loss makes Delmarva 24-18.
