The Philadelphia Liberty U-24 eked out a 2-1 win versus the Grim Reapers at The Coffin. Nobody did more than pitcher Bryan Miller. He was terrific. The Liberty U-24 own a robust 29-16 mark.

It could have been a different outcome for Philadelphia, had it not been for Armando Madrid, the 22-year old right fielder . Madrid contributed a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put Philadelphia up, 2-1.

Madrid called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
