Yinzers catcher Larry English put his stamp on his team's 11-3 win over the Grand Forks Caterpillars. English went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Monroeville in the contest. Monroeville pitcher Jing-yu Xiao got the win. He's now 2-5. Wayne Horne was tagged with the loss. Jai-guo Chio recorded the save, his 1st.

With Monroeville leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, English hit a cutter from Wayne Horne for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Yinzers ahead, 6-1.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said English.

The victory makes Monroeville 15-31.
