Herons Fall Short, 3-2, at Alaskan
The Alaskan Bush Pilots picked up a win at Bush Pilots Park, knocking off the Holy City Herons, 3-2. Starting pitcher Ronald Bryan was a big reason why. Bryan Massey recorded his 16th save for Alaskan. By defeating Holy City, the 4th-place Bush Pilots improved to 26-20.

The Herons had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Bush Pilots going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old catcher Bryce Green came to the plate. Green hit a 2-run double on a 1-0 fastball from Holy City hurler Jeff Cust. It was Green's 4th double of the year.

"Ronald is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Alaskan manager Arturo Montáñez.
