Lawson Leads Bush Pilots to Win
The Alaskan Bush Pilots turned back the Holy City Herons, 6-5, at Bush Pilots Park. Charlie Lawson, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The 4th-place Bush Pilots now have a record of 27-20.

Lawson had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch slider from Dan Brown, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Bush Pilots a 3-0 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Lawson.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Alaskan manager Arturo Montáñez.
