The Cage was the site of a tense game between the Walla Walla Walleye and Delmarva Gallos.

Delmarva Gallos starter Walt Murray pitched effectively against the Walla Walla Walleye at The Cage. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 3-2 win. The Gallos saw their win-loss record go to 28-20. At the same time, the Walleye fell to 32-16.

Delmarva took a 2-0 lead on Ray McKenzie's 3rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which McKenzie hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Walla Walla pitcher Tony Smith shaking his head.

"Every loss stings," said Walla Walla manager Félix Cruz. "This one is no exception."
