The Grand Forks Caterpillars did just enough to secure a victory over the Walla Walla Walleye, 1-0, in 10 innings at The Cocoon. Nobody did more than pitcher Luther Jackson. Grand Forks reliever Román Arroyo picked up the win to move to 2-2. William Scott suffered the loss. Grand Forks goes to 19-31, Walla Walla to 27-23.

The Caterpillars got a clutch hit from shortstop Kenzo Hatakeyama. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Caterpillars.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Jackson. "But we got it done."
