Lu-po-teh Fong, who is tied for 3rd in the SA with a 0.85 WHIP, had a strong outing for the Walla Walla Walleye against the Grand Forks Caterpillars at The Cocoon. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-1 win. António Díaz picked up his 10th save of the season. The defeat makes Grand Forks 23-27.

The Caterpillars had little chance against Fong, who overpowered Grand Forks hitters and struck out 13.

"Lu-po-teh was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Walla Walla manager Félix Cruz.
