Arryns Suffer 4-1 Loss to Chiefs

Caldwell Chiefs pitcher Joe Weber was in fine form, leading his team past the Lake Erie Arryns, 4-1. Weber yielded no runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 4-2. The 6th-place Arryns have lost 4 straight games.
Sheng Tung dealt the Arryns a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Caldwell leading 1-0, Tung, who is tied for 2nd in the SA in hits with 59, hit a full count cutter for a 2-run single.
