Reapers Deal Caterpillars 9-4 Loss
The Grim Reapers faced a tough opponent in Grand Forks pitcher Cai-fei Teng, but still scratched out a win at The Cocoon by a final score of 9-4 in 10 innings. Teng went 6 innings and allowed no runs. Grim reliever Gerald Delgado picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Denie Vogelsang absorbed the loss. The Reapers move to 20-35 with the win, while the Caterpillars drop to 25-30.

James Payton drew 1 walk in 2 trips to the plate against the Caterpillars. With the game tied in the top of the tenth inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that put Grim in front, 4-3.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Reapers manager Arnold Magowan. "This one was nice to get."
