The Chicago Tula got their 2063 season off and running with a win over the Eugene Vandals at Ramblers Ballpark. The final score was 10-7. Chicago designated hitter Horace Kemp, in particular, had a fine performance.

Johnny Walker's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth was significant, coming with the bases loaded and the game tied, 6-6. The Chicago left fielder hit a 2-run single off Pedro Garza to put the Tula up.
