Bush Pilots Even Record with 4-2 Victory
|
The Alaskan Bush Pilots and Levittown Blue Dragons played an exciting game.
Lee Kennedy, who is tied for 5th in the SA in wins with 6, pitched well, but the Levittown Blue Dragons still fell short, losing, 4-2, to the Alaskan Bush Pilots at The Cave at Levittown. Ronald Bryan got the win, improving to 5-5. He worked 7 innings, giving up 2 runs on 11 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. Bryan Massey earned save number 19 this season.
Alaskan used the clutch hitting of Grady McCarty to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Bush Pilots the lead, 3-2. For the game, McCarty had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
