The Philadelphia Liberty U-24 beat the Walla Walla Walleye, 8-2. Philadelphia starter Martín Machado pitched a gem. The third-place Liberty U-24 lifted their record to 43-25.

Philadelphia used the hitting of Armando Madrid to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Liberty U-24 on top, 8-0. For the game, Madrid had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
